My Journey in Bass Fishing

From a very young age, I have been obsessed with the great outdoors.  Whether I was camping, rock climbing, hunting, hiking, or fishing, I just wanted to be outside.  In middle school, I got into bass fishing and when I was given the opportunity to found the Celina High School Bass fishing team in Celina, Texas in 8th Grade with the help of my parents and some friends, I did not hesitate at all.  The decision to start and run the Celina High School Bass Fishing Team started my love for competitive angling, and it was the best decision I ever made.  Fast forward to now, and I am the current President of the Texas A&M University - Commerce Bass Fishing Team, and I have 8 years of tournament bass fishing experience at the High School, Collegiate, and Regional-Pro level.  My competition resume includes more than 25 top 50 finishes, more than 20 top 25 finishes, 8 top 10 finishes, 5 top 5 finishes, and 4 wins, as well as multiple qualifications for major championship events such as the Major League Fishing Collegiate National Championship (1X), the TTO Kings of Cowtown Championship (2X), the Bass Champs TX Championship (3X), the Collegiate Bass Trail of Texas State Championship (1X), the TTO TX Championship (1X), and the Texas High School Bass Association State Championship (1X).  In addition to competing in bass fishing tournaments across Texas and the United States, I also am the co-owner of a youtube channel known as "Metroplex Bass Addicts" that focuses on documenting my fishing and tournament experiences.  Currently, I am fortunate to have a great set of sponsors backing me.  I am blessed to be a part of the Ardent Reels, Denali Rods, Gill Fishing, Omnia Fishing, WOO! Tungsten, T-H Marine, Mustad Hooks, YOLOtek, K.O. Baits, and Lake Pro Tackle pro/field staff teams.  I am also very fortunate to have local companies/brands such as HomePro Technologies, Sterling Equipment, Preston Rentals, LivingWell Realty, Bongo Beaux's Celina, Lindley Landscaping, Life of Mike, and Donna Kaczor with State Farm Insurance backing me.  These are the companies and brands that help me do what I do, and I could not do it without them.  My dream is to fish for a living, by using my extensive knowledge of the sport to help teach people who are new to the sport, or seasoned anglers who want to up their game, how to become better fisherman.  I also hope to continue to compete at a high level and work my way up until I qualify for one of the major national professional bass fishing circuits as a full time pro bass angler.  I currently still reside in Celina, Texas and specialize in the North and Northeast Texas area, but I have experience across the country.  So whether you are new to the sport of bass fishing, or you are wanting to learn a thing or two to take your bass fishing game up a notch, I've got something for you!
